The Cosmetology Operator’s course prepares you for the TDLR Cosmetology license exam and includes a full, comprehensive, study off all aspects of Cosmetology. This course is designed to prepare you for success in hairdressing and related fields.
Course Description
Summary: Students will receive training in the art and science of cosmetology.
Course Type: Full Time / Daytime
5-Day: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Course Length: 1000 Clock Hours. Full time course. Approx. 8 months.
Tuition: $13,500
Books and Kits: $4,100 (Textbooks plus hair, skin care, and lash kits)
Registration Fee: $125
Non-Refundable Application Fee: $25
State Permit Fee: $25
Total: $17,775

PSI Licensing Exam Fee (written exam): $55
PSI Licensing Exam Fee (practical exam): $76
TDLR License Application: $50
*You’ll need basic classroom supplies (pens, paper, notebook, etc.)
Examinations will be booked and paid for through PSI. Cosmetology State Licensure Application fee $50 will be paid to TDLR.
